There's a large living/dining room/kitchen, off which is a utility room and downstairs loo.
Upstairs is a large landing, shower room and two double bedrooms.
If needed, we have a fold-up single bed that could be used on the landing or downstairs.
Cooking is by gas, heating by wood-burner downstairs and electric convectors upstairs. Water is heated by an immersion heater.
There's a landline telephone and a mobile signal, broadband wifi, fridge, washing machine, freezer, microwave and coffee machine. The TV has British Freeview, and there's a DVD player, video, and CD player. There are lots and lots of books and a pile of videos and DVDs.
Attached to the house is an open-fronted barn where we store logs.
A barbecue is available as well as picnic bench, deckchairs and other outside seating. And there are two adult bikes if you're feeling energetic!
